These terms and conditions constitute an agreement between you and TNK Travel. By using the site you accept these terms and conditions. The terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, and it is your responsibility to check these terms and conditions regularly in case there are any changes. Continuing to use the site after a change has been made is your acceptance of those changes.
In these Terms & Conditions, the word “company” refers to TNK Travel. “the customer” means you and the customer ‘s means your, the person who agrees to buy the tour and/or any person on whose behalf you agree to purchase the package tours, day trips, flights, car rental and other travel services provided by TNK Travel.
All rates shown on the website for tours, flights, train tickets, hotels and car rental are quoted in US dollars. Our team updates the rates according to the season and subject to availability. There will be special promotions during certain months of the year. Our sale consultants will advise the customer of these promotions (if any) at the time of your request.
Prices are based on classes of accommodations, vehicles and other related services mentioned in the specific program.
2/ Booking services with TNK Travel :
Bookings can be made to our office by email: email@example.com or by fax (+84-8) 3920 5377. We will reply to your enquiry within 12 hours. The booking will be processed as soon as we have received the customer‘s confirmation and payment deposit as per instructions.
In order to confirm your booking you are supposed to provide us with your booking details and a deposit of 30% of the total service cost or US$ 100 per booking in case the equivalent amount of 30% (We may raise the deposit percentage in case we believe that 30% is unsafe for some certain bookings) of the total price is less than US$ 100. For those bookings which cost less than US$ 100, full payment is required. Sometimes we will also ask you to pay in full in advance if we think full payment is necessary in the case.
We require a payment deposit of 25% for package tours, day trips, cruises, car rental and other travel services to secure your booking.
Notes: We require full payment for all flights, train tickets, invitation letters (for visa approval at the airport) and hotel reservations in order to issue pre-paid vouchers for your services.

The reservation takes effect only when you receive a confirmation by email or fax from us after we receive your deposit.
We will confirm your booking once we get your deposit, and you are required to reply to our confirmation by fax, mail or e-mail at least 10 working days prior to your arrival date in Vietnam. Failure to send back confirmation without notice is to understand that you cancel your booking.
Bookings made less than 10 days prior to the departure are subject to the availability of the requested services. For this case, full payment is required.
Full payment shall be received no later than 30 days prior to the departure, or if the booking is made within 30 days prior to the departure, full payment must be made upon the acknowledgement of your confirmation.
Failure to pay in full by the due date may result in the cancellation of your booking followed by a penalty.
All payments shall be made by telegraphic transfer (Bank wire) to our company account:

Notes: In the meantime, we also accept payment by Western Union, Credit Card Authorization or through our Paypal account. Our clients will be informed of the most convenient payment method by our sales consultants to save your time and money.
5/ Vouchers :
TNK Travel will issue the official vouchers and invoices to you as soon as the booked trip is confirmed and payment is completed. A service voucher will be sent by email / fax or regular mail depending on your wishes.
6/ Refund of Unused Services
No refunds or exchanges can be made in respect of accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services which are included in the Tour price but not utilized by the Tour member.
Cancellations by TNK Travel
We reserve the right to cancel your booking under any circumstances. If we cancel your booking, you can either get a refund or accept an alternative of equivalent or similar standard and price from us. In this case, we will always refund the difference in price if any.
We may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure due to terrorism, natural disasters, political instability or other external events; it is not viable for us to operate the planned itinerary. If we cancel your trip, you can transfer amounts paid to an alternate departure date or receive a full refund. In circumstances where the cancellation is due to external events beyond our reasonable control refunds will be less than any unrecoverable costs. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights.
Changes by TNK Travel
Regrettably, amendments may sometimes be necessary and errors occasionally happen. We reserve the right to make changes or correct errors at any time both before and after our confirmation. Flight timings, aircraft types and routings, train schedules and cruises are subject to change for operational and technical reasons. If changes in your itinerary need to be made, we will inform you as soon as it is reasonably possible.
We try to avoid making any “major changes” in your booking. If we tell you about any of these changes after we confirm your booking, you can either accept these new arrangements or accept an alternative of equivalent or very similar standard and price from us. In this case, we will always refund the difference in price if any.
Cancellations by the customer
+ Daily Group Tour:
If you cancel your booking, the following cancellation fees will be charged by TNK Travel:
– More than 5 days before the departure date: free of charge;
– More than 2 days before the departure date: a charge of 50% of the tour price;
– Within 48 hours before the departure date: full charge
In the case that you reschedule the tour for another date, there will be fees for rescheduling applied:
– More than 48 hours: free of charge;
– Within 48 hours: a charge of 50% of the tour price.
+ Package Tour:
If you cancel some or all portions of your booking cancellation fees will apply. A cancellation will only be made successfully when we receive written confirmation of the cancellation. If you cancel a trip:
– More than 55 days prior to the departure date, we will retain the deposit;
– Between 55 and 21 days prior to the departure date, we will retain the deposit or 40% of the total booking cost;
– Less than 21 days prior to the departure date, we will retain 100% paid by you in connection with the booking.
If you leave a trip for any reason after it has commenced we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services. If you fail to join a tour after departure, or leave it prior to its completion, no refund will be given. The above cancellation fees are in addition to fees which may be levied by accommodation providers, travel agents or third party tour and transport operators.
+ Tickets & Activities
Full charge is applied to all circumstances of cancellation and no-show.
+ Changes by the customer
Amendment report must be sent to us via email or fax, at least 10 working days prior to your arrival date.
We will advise the availability and possible amendment fees for changes in your confirmed booking, made by you at the time when we receive the amendment report. However, we will not take any extra fees for those changes if no extra cost arises from them.
In the case that the customer has to change the confirmed itinerary for certain reasons, we are happy to assist subject to the following fees and conditions:
- Domestic airfare: a minimum of US$20/person plus the airlines fee.
- International airfare: a minimum of US$30/person plus the airlines fee.
- Domestic land arrangement: a minimum of 40/person plus the supplier’s fee.
- International land arrangement: a minimum of US$40/person plus supplier’s fee.
Where travel documents and tickets have been issued, your changes can be only made subject to the availability of the airlines and the supplier’s conditions at that time. Kindly be advised that you may not be allowed to change the outbound date of departure on most discounted airfares. Please note most discounted domestic airfares and air reservations for groups do not allow changes to be made to the date of departure for any pre-booked flights. Accommodation and cruises cannot be changed and revised within 2 working days prior to departure.
10/ Force majeure
If as a consequence of “Force Majeure” (as defined below), TNK Travel is obliged to curtail, alter, extend or cancel the tour, you shall not be at liberty to maintain a claim for compensation or otherwise for any loss arising as a consequence of said curtailment, alteration, extension or cancellation of the tour.
“Force Majeur” means Acts of God, natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, fire or other destruction of any vessel, craft or vehicle to be used in connection with a holiday, destruction or damage to holiday accommodation, riots, acts of war, civil commotion, exercise of legislative or government action, municipal or military or other authority, strikes, industrial action, requisition of equipment, mechanical breakdown, shortage of fuel, insolvency or default of any carrier or service connected with the tour, fraud perpetrated against TNK Travel.
11/ Travel documentations
All customers must be in possession of a valid passport and necessary visas or permits at the commencement of travel. All such documentation is the sole responsibility of the client. Your travel advisor may assist you in applying for the necessary travel documentation upon request. TNK Travel accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the failure of clients to obtain appropriate documentation.
Since our package tours, day trips and other travel services DO NOT INCLUDE TRAVEL INSURANCE you are required to obtain your own full travel insurance. It is your responsibility to read your insurance policy before you travel and ensure that the insurance scheme provides you with the requisite level of cover.
13/ Luggage allowance
In accordance with the regulations of Vietnam Airlines, the free baggage allowance within Vietnam is 20 kg for economy class and 40 kg for business class, plus limited carry-on luggage. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of the client. Regulations within Vietnam specify that all suitcases must have a locking device attached. Failure to follow this regulation may result in refusal by airport staff to load suitcases onto the aircraft.
14/ Liability and disclaims
TNK Travel acts only in capacity of agent for its travelers in making arrangements for transportation, hotels, and other services that are incidental to the travel being purchased. Being an agent for travelers, we make the following disclaims. It does not assume any liability for any injury, damages, death, loss, accident, or delay due to any act of any carriers, hotels, restaurants, companies or persons rending any of the services included in the tour. It does not assume any liability for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident, or delay caused by strikes, civil disturbances, hostilities, acts of war, or other force majeure. Furthermore, it accepts no responsibilities for any delay or damage due to machinery breakdown, quarantine, weather, natural disasters, epidemic, or causes beyond our control. It also accepts no responsibilities for any omission, delay, retouring, additional expenses, or other events resulting from improper health condition, health certificates, or necessary documents to enter or depart from a country, or acts of any government authority. It also reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of the tour. It reserves the right to adjust the itineraries, or substitute hotels or cancel the tour and refund the deposit prior to the departure time.
In Case of disputes, claims and litigation regarding the services provided, both sides will negotiate to settle. Negotiation is based on enthusiasm and mutual understanding. In the case that such negotiations fail, the disputes, claims and litigation will be finally settled by arbitration of the Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC) at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
If you have a problem during your trip, it is a legal requirement that you bring it to the attention of the relevant suppliers (e.g. hotelier or airline) as soon as possible. We hope that any complaint which you may have can be handled amicably and efficiently. Our Operations staff are empowered to deal with complaints on the spot. However, where a complaint is not dealt with to the customers’ satisfaction, TNK Travel management can be reached at any time.
